He was kicking excitedly when Claire dropped him off this morning. He had a temperature and Calpol was given – but he did grin when he saw Claire this evening. Maybe he isn’t as cross with us for sending him to nursery. Hurrah! Or, oops, we spoke too soon…
Claire took him to a music thing today, and twice he burst into tears suddenly. Not sure why – it’s very sad.
Maybe it’s taking him more time than we thought to get used to nursery.
This Charming Man brings Leo to grinning and wriggling. In between ripping apart the Teletubbies magazine.
He’ll pick some things up quite daintily now. But he hasn’t got the link between method and weight – he’s surprised when thumb/forefinger combination fails to cope with an entire book.
He seems ok, but quite tearful when he gets home. It’s agitated crying though – he’s tired more than upset, i think. He’s not having his afternoon nap at the nursery.
I suddenly thought we should record what we call him. Some may recognise sources. Others are just from our brains and so far more odd.
Leo the lion
He’s a bit tearful, but also overtired so not sure quite what’s going on. He was happy to see me, but looked sad when i took him out of the nursery…
